After 26 years in Edegem, the question was not whether NTX would relocate, but how. From an empty shell to a workspace with character for 30 employees
At the outset, Groeningenlei 74 was literally an empty shell. Admittedly, it benefited from excellent parking facilities, a green and pleasant setting, and close proximity to a sports club with a cafeteria and a restaurant. That certainly helped. But there were no walls, no flooring and no trace of an office environment whatsoever.

Together with NTX, Pami translated the company’s ambitions into a carefully considered workplace concept. The process did not start with furniture, but with the way people work, collaborate and move through their day.

The result was a comprehensive concept in which acoustics, ergonomics, climate control and spatial experience all come together. Thirty workstations for thirty employees, with ample room for future growth. An environment that invites people not only to be there, but to stay. A homely atmosphere, warm colours, comfortable lounge areas where people can unwind, and a staff canteen designed as a bar, complete with a pool table, all contribute to that feeling.

The same workplace experience, whether you are in Kontich or Geel
NTX has offices in Kontich, Geel, Wuustwezel and Kruibeke. Employees regularly travel between these locations. That raises a question that may not always be asked out loud, but is certainly there: when you work somewhere other than your ‘home’ office, do you still feel at home?

For NTX, the answer was clear. The new interior design in Kontich was intentionally aligned with the office concept in Geel. The same acoustic standards, the same ergonomics and the same climate control. Employees travelling from Geel to Kontich do not need to adapt. The workspace feels familiar. The chair is comfortable. The acoustics are exactly as expected.

It may sound like a small detail, but it is not. Employees who feel at home perform better. And organisations that consistently create that experience across multiple offices build something that is far more difficult to replicate than any technology platform: a genuine sense of belonging.
