Rijksdienst voor Jaarlijkse Vakantie
A transformation.
The Rijksdienst voor Jaarlijkse Vakantie (RVJ) is a public institution responsible for the administration and monitoring of labourers' and non-independent artists’ annual holiday. The former RJV office building dates back to the early 1980s. Around 600 people worked there at the time. However, it became apparent that the building was much too large for the 270 people who currently work there.
Given that the RJV wants to convert to a modern, flexible administration, a comprehensive solution for the New Way of Working was needed. The move into a new office was paired with a new working environment. Pami played its part via Colliers International. The final choice was an open-plan office concept with cosy coffee corners scattered around. The goal was to encourage interaction and cooperation between employees. The dynamic office principle was also introduced. Everyone sits wherever they want; no one has an assigned workstation. After all, RJV is aiming to have 90% of employees participate in teleworking.
